Thanks for the feedback! To borrow a famous word prodigiously used by our president, I "hope" that as a "public servant," and I am a member of the public, that he does listen and hopefully save his presidency. That is change that I would really believe in!

The moving tribute set to "Some Gave All" had me choked up, but "Mansions of The Lord" sent me over the edge into true tears.
I never gave much thought to just what we owe our veterans until my father, a WW2 Army veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star, passed away in 2003.
I began to think about what my life would have been like if my dad, and men and women like him, had not laid down their dreams and ambitions and gone to war.
Every scrap of liberty we still possess, and every molecule of the air of liberty we inhale, we owe to them.
Thank God for them, and for every man and woman who has worn a uniform of the United States military before and since.

The real threat of Obama, inc is economic. We spend an enormous amout of money in the US today taking care of our health (both personal wealth and government wealth) The combination of huge, unprecedented spending and the limitations put on wealth creation (cap and trade, no drilling for our own oil, no nuclear energy, etc) are putting the country in an extremely precarious financial situation. Poor countries have poor health care because they can't afford better - no matter what kind of government. Medicare is going broke as is social security and all the other major government "healthcare" programs. Without money, healthcare will be rationed, regardless of whether it is government controlled or not.
